These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of mylafayetteinsurance.com and to text messages from Lafayette Insurance LLC (“Lafayette Insurance,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using our website or agreeing to receive our text messages, you agree to these terms.

Information only, not an insurance contract

The content on this website is general information about insurance and is not legal, tax or financial advice. Coverage descriptions are summaries. Your actual coverage is governed only by the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy issued by the insurance company.

Quotes and coverage

• Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and are subject to each insurance company’s underwriting, eligibility and final approval.
• Submitting a form, sending an email or text, or leaving a voicemail does not bind or change coverage. Coverage is not in effect until we confirm it with you and the insurance company has accepted it.
• You are responsible for giving complete and accurate information. Incorrect or missing information can change your price or affect your coverage or claims.
• Not every product or insurance company is available in every state or to every customer.

Text message (SMS) terms

Program: Lafayette Insurance text messages. When you provide your mobile number and agree to receive texts, for example on a quote or contact form or by texting us first, you consent to receive text messages from Lafayette Insurance at that number.

• What we send: follow-up on quote requests, appointment and renewal reminders, billing and policy service notices, claims help, and replies to your questions.
• Message frequency varies based on your requests and your policies.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
• To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation text, and then no more texts unless you sign up again.
• For help, reply HELP or call us at 765-474-2300.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile number and text message consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Third-party websites and forms

Some of our quote forms are hosted by other companies, and our website links to insurance company and social media websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Use of our website

You agree not to misuse our website, including by submitting false information, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with how the site works. The text, graphics and logos on this website belong to Lafayette Insurance or are used with permission, and may not be copied without our written consent. Insurance company names and logos belong to their owners.

No warranties and limitation of liability
